The home sleeps 14, w/ 3 1/2 baths, and many amenities, including a private sandy beach w/ clear water. In winter, enjoy nearby Schuss for skiing & sledding or ice skate & fish on the lake. There's plenty to do nearby, or stay in & have fun at the large dining area and play board games. 2 Fire pits for s'mores.

House Rules

Information




1. Smoking: Smoking is not allowed inside of the premises.
2. Pets: Dogs are allowed for an additional fee of $50.00 at time of reservation. (2 dogs max and under 50#). Please be respectful and pick up after your pet in the yard and fill in any holes if they dig. (If holes are not taken care of, you may lose your deposit).
3. Check-in / Check-out: To allow us to have the home properly cleaned and prepared for incoming guests, we ask that guests check-out by 10:00 AM and that new guests arrive after 4:00 PM. If you have specific circumstances where you may need a different time, please email, or call and we will see what we can do to accommodate you.
4. Minimum Stay: Minimum stay requirements vary by season, but there is generally a 2-night minimum stay requirement. 7 nights minimum during the months of July & August.
5. Damage Deposits: We require a $500 damage deposit for all reservations. This deposit is fully refundable and will be promptly returned to the guest if there is no damage to the property. I will request through the booking platform. All items in the house are inventoried. Loss or damage of any item is the responsibility of the guest(s) for replacement or repair cost. Any items damaged, broken, or stolen will be charged to the renter in replacement and/or repaid costs. Please let the property manager know if something gets broken so we can replace for the next guest.
6. Towels / Linens: We provide bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths for all guests as well as sheets and extra blankets for the beds, so guests do not need to bring their own. We do have some beach towels but might be a good idea to bring some of your own. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the home.
7. Kitchen Supplies and Dining: We provide a good supply of cooking and dining utensils for guests to use. This includes a coffee maker, Keurig, toaster, crock pot, salt, pepper, and some basic condiments. We also provide a starter kit with toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap and shampoo. Please do not eat in the bedrooms and please wash any dishes that have been used prior to departure.
8. We so have some Kayaks and boat tubes and fishing poles available at the house for your use.
9. Outdoor Grilling: Please clean the grill after use.
10. Cancellations: Full refund up to 30 days prior to arrival. 50% refund of accommodation fee up to 1 week prior to arrival, then non-refundable.
11. Acceptable Guests: Only the number of guests noted in the reservation are allowed on the premises. The primary person listed on the reservation must also be present in person during the stay and they must be present as well at initial check-in.
12. Quiet Hours: Keep noise to a minimum after 11:00 PM and before 7:00 AM.
13. Parking: Parking for up to 2 cars is provided on the driveway. (There is space for boat or snowmobile trailer in designated parking area.)
14. Furniture / Decor: Please do not rearrange furniture or decor.
15. Candles: Please do not burn any candles in the home.
16. Bonfires and Firewood: A fun and family-friendly fire pit with chairs is provided for having bonfires and s'mores. Firewood is not provided but is available for purchase at various grocery stores and gas stations in the area. Please fully extinguish all bonfires with water when done.
17. Air Conditioning: Guests are welcome to use the air conditioning, but please turn off or down the AC when away for long periods and when checking out.
18. Parties / Events: Parties or events of any kind are prohibited without prior written approval from host.
19. Weapons / Illegal Drugs: If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs or weapons of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.
20. Respect: This is the property owners; home when they stay in the area, so please be respectful of the property like how you would treat your own and keep it clean before you leave.
21. Liability: The owners of the property, as well as Bellaire Property Management, are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or deaths that occur while on the premises or in usage of its facilities. The homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.

Ponton boat is for rent on the property, must sign a boat waiver form.



Please note that any violation of these rules will result in charges being made against the guest’s damage deposit as deemed appropriate by the host and/or, for serious offenses, immediate forfeiture of any remaining days and time on the reservation and removal from the property without any kind of financial refund.

Experience a Winter Wonderland or Summer Vacation by the Lake with Friends and Furry Companions.
Bring along up to 14 people, including your furry friend, and indulge in an unforgettable winter holiday at a spacious cottage on Intermediate Lake. The home offers four bedrooms, three and half bathrooms, and plenty of amenities, including a private beach just down the yard from the backdoor. You can go skiing and sledding at Schuss, or skate and fish right in your backyard during winter. Stay connected with high-speed Wi-Fi, and enjoy the in-house entertainment options such as many TVs, board games, and movie streaming. With so much to do both inside and out, you'll never want to leave!
Layout of sleeping arrangements: 1 King bedroom, 1 Queen bedroom, 1 Full bedroom. Lower level has fun hangout area for kids with 4 Queen bunk beds, 1 Full bed and smart tv with games and full bath.

Experience this homes Charm with Cozy Amenities. There will be a lock box on the door to access the key.
Step into the entrance mud room with washer and dryer for your convenience and plenty of space for shoes and coats. The living room is spacious, inviting and bathed in natural light. Relax on the comfy furniture and gaze out of the large windows over the snowy lake.
In the fully equipped kitchen, you can prepare and cook your best creations using standard major appliances such as a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, and dishwasher. You'll find all the necessary cookware, bakeware, dish ware, flatware, glassware, serving-ware, and utensils you need to prepare and serve your favorite recipes. Dine with up to 14 people at the dining table.

For your morning hot beverage, you can grab a cup of coffee from the keurig or make a full pot of coffee for everyone to enjoy. A kettle is also available for tea lovers. Grab a cup and head to the outside deck to view the lake.

Important Reminders for Your Stay:
As a friendly reminder, we do not permit parties at our property. However, small gatherings such as baby showers and birthday dinners are more than welcome. Please note that our property is a lakefront, and no lifeguard is on duty at any time. Therefore, all guests will be swimming, boating, and enjoying the lake at their own risk. Lastly, we would like to stress the importance of following our quiet hours between 10 pm and 7 am. This ensures our neighbors continue to remain supportive of our rental.
We have a pontoon boat on the property that is available to RENT by the day or the week during your stay. You will need to sign a boat waiver. If interested request pricing options.

Check us out for summer activities. During the summer season, you can enjoy kayaking, paddle boating, or even bring your own boat. There's a public boat launch nearby and we offer a dock (available from Memorial Day weekend through September) for your convenience. Or rent our pontoon by the day or week during your stay.

If you're looking for something more relaxing, try fishing with the provided poles. You can also swim, float, or just cool off in the lake. Or, if you prefer, sit back, relax, and enjoy the view from our Adirondack chairs. Kids will love playing in the sand and splashing around in the shallow water by the shore. The yard is set up for some fun games such as corn hole or frisbee or just toss the football.

As the sun goes down, gather around one of the two fire pits by the shoreline or closer to the house, complete with Adirondack-chair seating. Make memories and s'mores or tell some fun ghost stories

The resort is ideally located just eight minutes away from downtown Bellaire, which is home to some of the most popular tourist attractions, such as Short's Brewery, Bee Well Meade, The Corner Bistro, and Mammoth Distilling. You can also visit nearby attractions, such as Torch Lake public boat launch (a few miles away) and Shanty Creek (13 minutes away). If you're in the mood for a scenic day trip, the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, Mackinac Island, Charlevoix, Petoskey, or Traverse City are all within a short driving distance. Additionally, you'll be only a stone's throw away from excellent golf courses, ski resorts, cider and wine tasting, and much more.
