House Rules

You must be 25 to rent! If asked proof of age will be required! There are house rules that will be forwarded to you with your check in instructions. I do require a $250 deposit be made no later than 7 days before check in. I will request the deposit through the booking site used.

The space
The home features 2 comfy living rooms, an upstairs loft sitting area with lake view, A/C, high-speed WI-FI, modern kitchen with all of the essentials needed for your stay. Inside and outside dining area with gas grill, deck, dock, spa/hot tub and 2 kayaks for your use. You will have a fun incredible vacation any time of year in Northern Michigan. Come for lake fun, ice fishing, skiing, boating, kayaking, hiking, biking.

Additional notes
Boat trailers are allowed to park on property if there is room. It will fit 2 cars and a trailer. You can also call Captains Choice in Bellaire for storage during your visit, if you need more room for vehicles. The water at the end of the dock is less than three feet deep.(depending on the water level, could be deeper other years) This is perfect for a pontoon. If you have a boat with deep prop you would be able to use the mooring buoy, but will have to go in water to do so, which can be mucky.
Rental will be stocked with starter rolls of Toilet paper and paper towel. You may want to bring extra if you think you will need more!

Neighborhood overview
The home is located on the northern shore of Clam Lake. Downtown Bellaire is a 20 minute drive from the home. You can shop, eat, check out Shorts Brewing Pub among 10 other restaurants and plenty of great coffee locations and places to grab drinks. Dockside on Torch Lake is just down the street and Shanty Creek and Schuss Mountain are 20 minutes thru Bellaire.
Getting around
Clam Lake connects to Torch Lake, which features crystal blue water and is nationally recognized as one of the most beautiful lakes in the US. You can actually get to 5 different lakes on the lower chain from Clam Lake. You can boat down Grass River through Lake Bellaire to Intermediate River to park and walk to downtown Bellaire. All by boat! There is a public boat launch just down the street or you may bring your boat and dock at the house.
